Origin
Born in Weld County, Colorado, and spent formative years on a small ranch on the Box-Elder Creek, approximately thirty miles Southeast of Greeley, Colorado. The harsh winters and fluctuating cattle market prices changed the course of life from Agriculture to Finance and Business.

Recruited and trained new staff in the use of "T-Recs", a total reconciliation software system by Chesapeake, Inc.
Developed data integrity for system after re-initialization of T-Recs.
Created business policy procedures for new department manager.
Managed the plan for preparation of all corporate bank account reconciliation's.
SAP R/3 FI/CO Implementation and Training
Subcontracted to Phillips North America (PNAC), Manhattan, NY.
Prepared and taught formal courses in basic use of SAP R/3, Advanced use of SAP R/3, Planning, Accounts Payable and General Ledger to end users within the company prior to go-live date.
Subcontracted to Adflex Solutions, Inc., Chandler, AZ.

Debt Management
Managed and acted as internal agent for $150,000,000 debt held by more than 75 debenture holders until debt was converted to equity.
Prepared due diligence review for $125,000,000 New Issue of 12 ½ % Senior Notes due 2004.
Negotiated Revolving Credit Agreements with Bank Syndication.
Domestic Treasury Management
Implemented the use of a lock-box network that decreased DSO by a minimum of six days.Implemented a controlled disbursement system with positive pay that protected the company from losses due to check fraud and allowed the reduction of collected funds left on account to less than $100,000 per day.
Implemented ICMS Treasury Work Station.
Prepared due diligence review for IPO in 1988.
Prepared due diligence review for SEC filings (i.e.,10K, 10Q, etc.).
SAP R/3 Implementation Team
Mapped financial data elements from legacy system to SAP R/3 system.Implemented the Accounts Receivable module for Merisel's Canadian subsidiary.
Configured Cash Management and Cash Planning for Merisel, Inc.
Created and prepared training courses for Cash Application and Treasury for conversion to SAP R/3.
Prepared SAP R/3 FI Business Policy Procedures.
Provided support and helped with implementation of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Asset and Credit modules.
Cash Application and invoice clearing.
Managed team of twelve associates that applied funds received against outstanding invoices. Team cleared approximately 200,000 invoices per month.
Established direct debit program for approximately 3,000 COD customers allowing them to establish credit while reducing DSO by three days.
Insurance Management
Reviewed risk, and purchased Property, Business Interruption, Liability, Directors and Officers, Auto Liability and Workers' Compensation Insurance as needed.Established loss control procedures.
